Is a rising sign the same thing as an ascendant? How do I find my rising sign?
Good question! Yes, the rising sign is the same as your ascendant. Your ascendant is the sign that was rising when you were born, thus, your “rising sign.” This sign reflects how the world sees or looks at you. It really represents your outer personality or the image you tend to show the world. What you’ll need to find this sign is the approximate time you were born and refer to the Ascendant Table which is located on this site. There are also plenty of books that you can buy to help you map out your entire chart. That’s how I started at 12. My mom bought me a book called AQUARIUS ASTROANALYSIS. This book helped me find out my entire birth chart. There are also programs you can buy such as Time Passage.
